How long is each personal training session?
Each session takes one hour. Which includes a warm up, tailor made workout & cool down. You are also given the opportunity to ask any questions you may have including diet advice and recipes. Your sessions will also sometimes include measurements, progress photos and weigh ins, to keep track of your progress.
How are you different from a regular trainer at a gym?
The Fitness Lane sessions take place in our own private gym meaning no distractions of a busy crowded leisure centre and 100% attention on your training meaning faster and better results! We use high end equipment that is maintained and cleaned every day. You are not one of a million members, but instead a very valued client that Alex wants to see succeed and will help you every way he can!
Do you have to be fit for personal training?
No, I train clients of all abilities & ages from complete beginners to experienced gym goers. It really doesn't matter as long as you want to make that positive change for a happy healthy life.
What are the benefits of personal training?
A trainer is great to keep you motivated & enthusiastic when times get tough and give you support and advice with any issues. This means you're more likely to get the results you want & deserve. This will help you become happier, healthier and fitter.
How do I start?
Contact us now to book in for a Free consultation with Alex! You can schedule a phone call, meeting over coffee or come and see our gym in person! This will be to discuss personal training and answer any questions you may have, there is of course no obligation to go ahead with booking but we can help you decide which program would be best for you! If you're already confident in which program you want to book, go ahead and pay through our website meaning you can get started on your fitness journey even quicker! Once you book, Alex will be in touch to organise your first session at a time to suit you!
What do I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable gym clothing and trainers. Please also bring a water bottle with you. We suggest you tie up long hair and remove any jewellery.
Can I train if I am injured, disabled, suffer from illness or am elderly?
Aslong as your GP confirms you are safe to exercise, The Fitness Lane will be more than happy to design a program that suits your needs!

Saturday 11am-4:30pm (We also offer a spin class at 9:30am)
